Daniele Cernilli, one of Italy’s world class wine critics, is bringing his first international tour to London on 29th October. 25 leading wineries from Italy’s main wine regions will showcase their top wines at this event, held in collaboration with Daniele Cernilli’s online magazine www.doctorwine.it
This will be a brilliant showcase of the very best Italian wines, top quality, award-winning wines from Piemonte, Tuscany, Lombardy, Umbria, Puglia, Basilicata, Sicily and more. There will be 25 exhibitors showing around 250 wines. Expect Barolo from Marchesi di Barolo, from the famous producer Gaja, Brunello di Montalcino from Tenuta San Guido, top Chiantis from Fattoria di Fubbiano, the jaw-dropping Il Pollenza from Le Marche, the top Falesco from Umbria, and much, much more.
There will also be a 'Master of Olive Oil' showing around 15 different extra virgin olive oils to taste.
Tickets are just £15 and I have reserved 50 places for the group. The tasting lasts from 6-8 pm and you can turn up at any time. I will be doing a guided wine walk at 6.30 so that you can meet other members of the group but this will be limited to 12 people.
This event has been organised by Meetup member Luisa Welch - thanks to Luisa for offering tickets to the group.
The nearest tube is High Street Kensington.
