FRENCH WINE TASTING EVENING, AT A VERY POPULAR VENUE IN THE CITY:
LE TOUR DE FRANCE
FRENCH WINE TASTING
21st May 2013 at 6.30pm
A tasting for those of you who are confused about the complexity of French wine. We will taste 8 fine French wines revealing the appeal of their gallic charms! Because I want a good turnout for this one, I have kept the price down to a bargain £17, so don't miss out!
The tasting will take place at The Counting House, in Cornhill, EC3. This is an ex-Prescott's Bank, with a very grand Dining Room for up to 25 people, which I have used often before, and is well-liked.
The price for this tasting will be only £17, including the 8 wines, presentation and all equipment needed for the tasting. PLUS: for an optional £6 extra, you can take one of The Counting House's excellent cheese platters, which will stop those wine-induced hunger pangs! Please get in touch with me if you want to take this option.
Please feel free to give me a call on [masked] or email [masked] if you want to discuss this further.
NB. I will need a minimum of 8 people to make this break even, so if I don't get this number signing up, I am afraid I will have to cancel.
PS. Some people have said they have found The Counting House a little hidden. It is at the other end of Cornhill from Bank station, just before the intersection with Gracechurch Street. The room is the one past the bar, right at the back of the ground floor.
