Wild Food Walk - Lots of edible plants and aromatic herbs

Sunday August 11  - Wild Edibles and Aromatic Plants Hike

Let's go on a foraging walk and explore this beautiful park. I expect to see a lot of interesting edible and aromatic plants such as "wild" passion fruits, Lambsquarters seeds (think quinoa) maybe figs, pepperweed, lerps sugar, mugwort, and much more.

The slow walk will last for probably a couple of hours.

As usual bring water, sun protection, a bag if you want to collect some plants, notebook is a good idea and camera too.

No snacks that day but we'll have some cactus pear soda to taste.

See map for exact meetup location:

Hi... I'm wondering if we get to pick the plants or just look? :)
