Join me this Sunday for a nice and slow plant walk along the Gabrielino trail.
It's really hot right now but we can still find some interesting plants. We'll walk slowly (it's hot) along the trail and inspect the various water streams alongside the trail.
I'm sure we'll find some interesting aromatics (mugwort seeds, California bay leaves, white sage, etc...)
and maybe some watercress, curly dock and who knows what!
The walk will be probably 1 1/2 hr, no need to be in super shape as we'll stop every 3 or 4 minutes to talk about what we find.
At the end of the walk, we'll have some refreshing white sage tea, maybe some white sage cider too. I'll do a quick spice mix with some of the wild aromatic we'll find and enjoy it with some cheese and homemade wild mustard - nothing fancy :)
See you there!
