This is more like an exploration walk to check some of the wild and aromatic plants we may be able to find in our local hills.
We're still waiting for the rain so not sure how much we will find but we always find something and it's an interesting area. There is a beautiful oak forest (maybe nice acorns?), we'll probably see some aromatic plants (sages), wild buckwheat, etc...
Exploring is a bit part of foraging, you study new environments and evaluate their potential for present and future sourcing of wild edible and aromatic plants.
So join me this Sunday and together let's check out this place :)
Make sure you bring water and check the weather (for sun protection).
I always bring something for people to taste and I'll explain how it is done so get ready for some pine sugar, roasted buckwheat and sage tea.
