Sunday June 15 Plant identification Walk (Beginner/Intermediate)

Sunday June 15  Plant identification Walk (Beginner/Intermediate)

Each month we try a new location and see what we can find there. This month, we'll explore a local park and see what we can find. I expect to find some interesting edible plants such as radish, lamsquarters (wild spinash), curly dock, etc… It's a very slow walk, lots of stops to talk about the plants. Bring you camera to take photos, something to take notes.

Wear long sleeve and pants if you can in case we have poison oak in the area.

After the walk, we'll have some wild drinks and maybe a small snack made with plants you can find in that environment.

Location Hahamongna Watershed Park

Time: From 10 A.M. to around 1:00 P.M.

Cost: $20.00

It was everything I wanted and expected, the people were friendly, and we were served good food at the end.

What an amazing time!! I can't wait to follow Pascal around again and find more California's goodness. Until then!

This was my first time foraging for food and it was a really great experience. Pascal is very knowledgeable about the vegetation that grows wild around the Southern California area and was very kind in sharing with us his food creations and recipes.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
