By popular demand, this workshop is back!
Sunday July 15 - Making Beer with Wild Edible plants
This is a wonderful workshop where you will learn to make beer at home using local aromatic or medicinal plants. During the workshop I will take you step by step through the process and we'll actually make beer. We'll also go on a foraging hike to collect the plants we will be using to make the beer (so you can take some home and make your own beer). We'll do a bit of beer and wild food samplings at the end of the class as well.
Bring water, sunscreen, a foraging bag, as well as a gardening knife or pocket knife to harvest the plants.
Please wear sensible hiking shoes and long sleeves and pants as there may be poison oak along the trails.
Time: 10 A.M. to around 2 P.M
Donation: $20.00 (Use Paypal or Cash/Check at the outing)
