Sorry I couldn't make the discussion of State of Wonder: I love the author and her writing. I did read Bel Canto and enjoyed that as well. Hopefully next time.

Hi Christine--I'm a local author and would like to throw my book out there in case there are any cozy mystery lovers in the group. Murder & Mayhem In Goose Pimple Junction is a humorous southern mystery with a little bit of romance. I would love for Louisville to discover it.

Hi Christine, I was thinking that it would be a good idea to have an occasional movie night for our book club. For example, we could go see "Catching Fire" next fall (since we have already read it). Please pass this on to David and the other organizers.

This is a meetup site dedicated to book discussion... What will be unique is if you have a book you love and would like to lead it as a discussion just let me know the book.... the date.... and the location and I'll post it for you. Try to give at least a month notice to give members the opportunity to get and read the book.... If you want to do trashy romance, classic literature, modern sci-fi... it's all fair game!
