Hey, and welcome. Check out The Trail Store in Louisville. They offer great classes to start you off right. As well if you have questions feel free to send me an email or call. Some of use have some extra gear to start you off with.

Shira, welcome to the group! Don't worry, we'll break you in slowly. It's great that you're starting out on the trail, so you won't develop those bad road habits. As a new runner, you might also check out the meetup called Outdoor Women of Louisville. They do a Monday 5:30 PM run at Sawyer Park, at a pretty leisurely pace - might be the perfect way to get started. Hope to see you on a Saturday morning soon!

This is a meetup site dedicated to book discussion... What will be unique is if you have a book you love and would like to lead it as a discussion just let me know the book.... the date.... and the location and I'll post it for you. Try to give at least a month notice to give members the opportunity to get and read the book.... If you want to do trashy romance, classic literature, modern sci-fi... it's all fair game!
