We ask you attend one meeting before you share your writing.
For new members there is a $10 yearly fee due your 2nd meeting. Yearly mem. fees offset Meetup fees.
If anyone is late to a meeting I will ask you to donate $2 to the popcorn/Crunch and Munch fund.
Remember to change your RSVP status if you can't attend.
Often we have a waiting list. The system will automatically move you to 'attending' and email you when someone changes their RSVP.
If you no-show for a meeting you will need to rejoin as a member and skip the next meeting.
If you come by quarter till it makes dividing groups less weird.

Check in by 9:45a. We begin reading at 10am. We try to end the mtg by 1pm.
Meet friends and hear how your potential readership reacts to your work. This group is dedicated to reaching and supporting creative (fiction) writers of all stripes in the Louisville area. New members must attend at least 1 meeting as a critiquer before bringing writing--not a big requirement, really. It's a good idea to check us out first anyway. Though we try to be as open as possible there are a few genres that are not suitable: children's lit., non-fiction, screenplays and poetry. We need to manage who presents material to ensure enough time to discuss, so we distribute presenters as evenly as we can between the small groups. Please help us create a strong environment of support and good feedback even when you don't have writing to present. The maximum word limit is 3,000 words or 15 mins of presenting whiceer comes first. See sign up list to judge how many copies to bring.
