I have performed as a pianist in many venues in the Boston area, including the Museum of Fine Arts, (for fund-raising, new members' events, and afternoon teas), and am currently working on a program (with a French vocalist, Anne-Marie Codur) to be performed in Brazil, at the Cine Teatro de Cuiaba. This will be a return engagement - we performed at this theatre, for an evening of French chansons and arias, earlier this spring. I played some time ago with several swing bands, and have done accompanying for theatrical performances as well, most recently at the Snapple theatre on Broadway, for an original play entitled "Some Like It French" (with the American songbook translated into French as the score).
First Fridays at the MFA, Boston Ballet events, dancing (swing, Latin), wine-tastings, French Library monthly get-togethers ("L'Apero"); any events relating to cosmological physics and astronomy (for the layperson), such as observatory evenings at Harvard, literary events (such as those sponsored by Grub Street).
My name is Jill Borenstein - I am a pianist, (classical and jazz), and am affiliated with the Boston classical-music meet-up group, through which I've met some of the same people involved in this group.
