This is great and right in our backyard (we live in Maple Ridge). I'd like to bring my hubby and kids if that is OK. I am also a teacher and will invite some of our environmental school kids.

I will be coming, but won't stay until the end, due to other obligations. I am bringing my 6 year old son:)

Have to bail, even though its close to home, too many family obligations popping up sadly.

Hi! I`m coming from UBC, and picking up a friend in Burnaby. So if anyone needs a ride from there, let me know. You can reply on here or just email me corissa.ducharme at

By any chance, are you driving a vehicle with a bike rack Corissa? I live between you and there, near City Hall. When I go to these distant Green Team events, I usually take mass transit as close as I can get, and then ride the rest of the way. A great way to experience B.C. I was going to take the West Coast train and ride back (unless it's pitching rain). But if you have a rack, that would be great! And if it's raining as hard as it is right now (thunder and lightning) I might ask for a last-minute lift without the bike.

Sorry, no rack. Don`t hesitate to let me know if you need a ride later, luckily though it is supposed to be sunny!

If anyone needs a ride from Coquitlam, or anywhere along the way, I can give them a ride. However, you'll have to find a return ride as I won't be going back that way.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
