Meetup organiser and professional marketeer, Lisa Goll, will be presenting a mini-workshop on making your group a financial success.
If you're running a meetup, you know one of the biggest challenges can be to keep it afloat. From organiser dues, venue costs, helper costs and more - it's not easy asking members to part with their cash - but there are strategies you can apply to ensure your meetup is profitable, socially and financially.
"When I took over my group in 2009 it was almost on its last legs, but since then I've managed to make it truly rewarding, in more ways than one and after three years in charge; I hope to offer you my tips, advice and guidance on making each meetup you plan the most successful yet!"
So this talk is for all organisers - whether established or novice - to get some down-to-earth advice from someone who has made some specular failures (which I'm sure she'll share) but also worked really hard to make her group a big success.
