Hello organizers,

I hope you have had a good week; I have had time to recover from cold, flu and general overload, I am good to go.

Feedback from our Meetups

==========================

We had two meetings this month here are some highlights from these meetings-

We can have up to 100 sponsors on our page and 1 sponsor from HQ.

We had questions on Payment issues; some organizer would like to see member pay by card, as not everyone like/use PayPal, and for those who get a lot of RSVP?s receiving money at the door does not work.

We had one organizer ask if he could hide his attendee?s list, to create curiosity in members and increase turnout. Some of the organizers thought, we should have a compilation of the issues, raised by UK Meetup group and make a formal request/complain to headquarter.

Most of all was the need to get Meetup known in the UK. We had the meeting recorded if you would like a copy of the video, please contact me.

New Feature
=========================
We have a new feature on meet up; we can now connect our groups to other social media platforms. I immediately jumped at it in addition to the links I had already created for my meet up group? The Bod. I think meetup is saying to us connect on other social media platform, so if you are not already doing so, you may want to consider it.

For those who are looking to attract new members to your group you may also consider creating groups and followers on other social media platform, then invite them to your meetup events.

To open the social media floor ? I created a Face book and a Twitter page for The Meetup Organizers. Please follow us twitter and join us on facebook, you will find the links on the groups front page.

Brian Tracy In London
=========================

If you have read the book 'Eat That Frog' will know of Brian Tracy. He is known for teaching effective management skills, you will agree with me that organizing meetups does need that. So? If You REALLY Want To *Rapidly* Grow Your Meetup ? Or Embark on a New and Exciting Venture In 2010, There?s Only ONE PLACE You?ll Want To Be At.... Earls Court, London.

If you haven?t RSVP yet please do so here.

I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.

Have a lovely weekend

Placida
