The Main Line/Ardmore Book Club welcomes all reading enthusiasts!  We are a diverse group of adults that enjoy reading and escaping into a great book.  We meet at a local Borders  once, maybe twice a month (depending on the size of the waiting list) to openly discuss our opinions about the book.  We pride ourselves as being diverse on what we read as well solely because this book club reads all types of genres. The books are suggestions from all the members and from time to time, members will suggest a book based on the theme they have chosen for that month. For example, the members may choose March as the month for classical reading. From that point,  the book club members will vote on a great classic from some of the brilliant classic authors available

The reason I started this club  is because I wanted to build a place in the Main Line area where people can have the chance to escape into a great book. I wanted to provide the opportunity for others to talk about their favorite book freely, openly and not be embarrassed when they get excited about it.  I wanted to create a somber, trusted place where anyone can  share their input. I also wanted to create a relaxed environment where members can let their hair down ,have fun, be as outgoing as they want to be or not be, and empower each other into detailed discussions about the book.

I feel this club is a great fit for anyone who wants to get lost into an unbelievable book.  At the Main Line/Ardmore Book Club, there is always an opportunity to speak your mind  It is a place to always be yourself!
