I have set up the Business Circle, so that enthusiastic, like-minded business owners can come together and help each other to prosper as a community, particularly in these difficult economic times.
Are you a business owner who would like to join a business community where we all mutually support and help each other through proper partnerships, strategic alliances and joint ventures?
Are you a business owner who has a specific problem that you need help with which is a result of a lack of resources - eg a lack of time, staff, money, skills, knowledge, customers, connections?
Are you a business who has something you can offer other members such as spare staff capacity, a customer database you could do joint marketing campaigns with, a great business idea, specific skills such as web design, expert knowledge of business strategy and planning or experience in project management and service delivery for example - whatever you can bring to the table, someone else may well need it...?
Are you prepared to roll your sleeves up, get active and work with others on mutually beneficial projects which are win win with the objective of creating wealth, adding value or enhancing reputation, for all parties...?
Are you prepared to give as much as you take from the group?
Do You Have The Drive and Motivation To Be Successful?
As Members, I ask that we have and demonstrate:

• Commitment to helping each other by the use of the skills, resources and knowledge we do have.
• Confidentiality
• Trust
• Fairness
• Non-Judgmental
• A commitment to the Business Circle Constitution (which we will create and agree together).
Who Am I?
I hold an MBA and have a career that spans over 20 years, working with and in all sorts of businesses from large corporates to start-ups.
I read recently that statistically 87% of new businesses fail in the first five years and in the subsequent 5 years, 87% of the remaining businesses fail. So you have less than a 2% chance of success - a sobering thought indeed.
Well, I want to tip the odds in your favour - I have a passion for seeing businesses flourish and I would like to get actively involved in helping members of my Business Community to improve, raise their game and prosper.
I think that it is down to us all to take responsibility, get up off our seats and make it happen.
I prefer working within a "team" and am happy to offer the skills, knowledge and experience I have and in return I wish to build my own business, create wealth for myself and my family and work with a network of trusted business partners whom I enjoy creating opportunity and money with.
Please Note That This Is NOT:
- A group where we all put on a front and say business is booming - it requires honesty in terms of acknowledging issues or problems that you would like us to help you with. We can't help you unless you are straight with us - we need the facts in order to come up with a solution that will work for you.
- A group where you come to push and sell your business services to others.
- A networking group where we meet to exchange business cards, with the expectation that we sell each others businesses to all of our network.
... there are plenty of groups where you can do these things and this is not one of them.
It is a group where ACTION is taken. We learn, discuss, plan and do together..and then get excellent results.
