Introduction
Hi y'all! I was born in Dallas, raised in Tyler, schooled at UT in Austin, SCHOOLED in NYC for 10 years and moved home to Austin in January 2011. I just opened my bon bon biz, Bon Bons by Serena from my home in Austin (thanks to Cottage Law!).
What made you decide to trade up from NYC to ATX?
10 years of working as a Producer at MTV News and eventually for The Tyra Show (that was quite a career "progression" I know...) can wear a woman out. I decided to come home to Texas. And to bake. A LOT. I'm the proud new owner of Bon Bons by Serena.
How long have you been here in ATX?
Since January of 2011.
What was your favorite NYC haunt?
Central Park. I lived at 55th and Broadway for 8 years... when I was saying goodbye to NYC, my walk through Central Park was the one thing that brought the water works. I love that park! I also love a cocktail or two and my favorite place to grab a drink was Pravda.

Welcome to Austin! There's a group of Ravens fans that watch games at The Tavern, upstairs. Unofficially, its the Ravens Nest 512. I expect several will be there for the pre-season games also.

I know it's been forever!! I keep meaning to make it but every meetup it seemed like I was in NY! lol. Well I think I'm done with trips there for a while so can't wait to catch up with everyone in Austin!
