The Farmer’s Wife
Before making his name as the master of the horror film, Alfred Hitchcock directed 1928's classic The Farmer's Wife. This romantic comedy tells the story of a lonely widower who decides to remarry. He pursues several local spinsters, who each reject his advances. However, his housekeeper is secretly in love with him.
