Introduction to Buddhist Meditation 6 week course starts Monday February 4th, 2013 - 7:30pm-9pm

The goal of Buddhist meditation is to realise (literally make real) and experience
absolute inner freedom in our lives, regardless of our life situation. In this course
we introduce the practice of Integral Buddhist Meditation which combines the ancient
teachings of the buddha with aspects of western psychology. This is buddhist
for the 21st century western culture.

Past students always tell me that this course helps them immensely in their lives
allowing them to experience greater freedom within the normal workings of their 
mind. We will learn how to work with your mind and emotions 24/7 so that you can
choose to live a life of openness, clarity and creativity.

If you have an existing practice this course is suitable for you as well. I have a
number of students that have started meditation in the past, and found great 
benefits from the practice, but then for one reason or another they cease
meditating. If this is the case for you then this course will also clarify the practice
of meditation and help you resume practice with more clarity, awareness, passion
and resolve as well as giving you reliable tools to help you work through challenging
times on the cushion.

In the practice of meditation we discover and experience the spacious depth within
our ordinary mind that is always still, clear, calm and aware - even when difficult or
unpleasant thoughts, emotions or life situations arise that are challenging or unsettling
to us. Just as the sun is ever-present even in stormy weather, so too we have a clear
deep mind within us that shines forth in every moment of our lives, and this depth
of mind is accessible to us at all times - if we so choose.

All equipment is provided at the studio and you have the option of sitting on a chair or
cushions on the floor. The price for the 6 week course is $120 full or $105 concession,

    Hi, I would like to practice meditation in the light of others. However, I probably can't make every session as I live 2 hours from Melbourne. Would it still be beneficial for me to attend some sessions?
