Ashwood harvest share/ Swap

This is a new community event that has just started up in Ashwood and is every 3rd Saturday.   It is based at the Cafe (from whom you can ask for coffee grounds to delight your garden).  Being at the cafe also means you can linger for lunch.

The expectation is that you will take something surplus from your garden or kitchen to put on the exchange table.  This could be worm wee if you don't have any surplus jam, cake pans, jam jars or lettuces.

I am not exactly sure of the rules yet because:

a) it is new and

b) I haven't been myself yet (and won't make this one as I am on duty at the theatre that day).

Please feel free to add similar events in your community to the calendar.  I didn't know about this one until I walked to the cafe for brunch and they had a notice up in the window.

cheers

Lynette

I think Share swap is a very good idea. Just Saturday is not a good day for me. Might drop in to check it out in School holidays.
