Book here: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/passivhaus-in-australia-sustainable-living-festival-tickets-10386194387

This talk will introduce a wider audience to the Passive House (Passivhaus) standard, which utilises basic building science and passive design measures to provide buildings that have real impacts on occupant satisfaction, health and wellbeing, whilst reducing energy consumption.
The Passivhaus standard aims to optimise building design, providing excellent thermal comfort and occupant wellbeing while reducing energy consumption by up to 90%. With over 40,000 Passivhaus buildings worldwide the standard is making waves in efficient building design in Australia. The Australian Passive House Association will present on the basics of Passivhaus, what it takes to achieve the standard in Australia and why this should be the basic building standard.

Very interesting. I learnt quite a few new things. Could not identify other Group members. This can be a real problem for events that are well attended and where there are only a few Group Members. Thought that Group members could wear small, but distinctive pins (design to be circulated). Any other thoughts?

Hi, Patrick!! Yes, it was a good one. The idea of small pins is good but I am not sure if it will work in most of the events that a lot of people attend, like yesterday....Another suggestions, please? Yes, definitely is a problem not finding other members ...the reason that I posted my mobile is to meet people that I didn't meet before, like you. So, next time feel free to contact me directly. I hope see you soon!!

Should be really worth attending. Suggest that we meet a few minutes before the meeting to say hello to each other.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
