July Netsquared: effective online marketing on a budget

  • July 26, 2012 · 6:00 PM

You are more likely to be in a plane crash than click on a standard banner ad. It's no surprise then that non-profits are more than a little skeptical about investing in online marketing.

At July's netsquared digital stratgeist Prarthana Holburn will cover smart ways for non-profits to invest in online marketing. Prarthana will explore email marketing, intelligent online media buying and banner advertising techniques that can drive results. With a background in advertising agencies and non-for-profits, she has previously worked for World Vision Australia, and consulted for WSPA and UNHCR globally.

Plan for the night:

6:00-6:30  Mingle and drinks in bar area

6:30 Presentation in Theathrette

6:50pm Questions

7:00 The mingle continues in the bar

With a hot topic and limited seating, we know this will be a popular event. We will have a wait list prepared. If you are a "tentative" please do not RSVP "yes"  until you are certain you can make it. Unfotunately meet-up does not have a "maybe" button.

Please invite any friends who work in or are interested in the nonprofit industry. The insights that Prarthana will offer don't often come for free and are usually outside the budget of small non-profits, so we want to make sure as many people as possible know about the event.

I appreciated the way Prarthana was able to encapsulate this topic into a brief yet highly informative presentation.

The information shared was useful and real. Thank You. Greatly appreciated.
Someone in the audience asked if there was a consultant who would help their non-profit.
There is a local council (City of Yarra) giving out $1500. This is to fund a consultant company to assist in "e-marketing strategy" Perhaps the person asking the question would like to contact me, I can forward the email I received today. BTW I am not the consultant.
