"Jack and Jill went up the hill to see who poisoned faster, to relish thrills of subtle kills and crown themselves the master..."
A delightfully gruesome little theatre show about the art of poisoning at the turn of the century, featuring an irreverently sinister swathe of Melbourne’s most subversive cabaret performers.
'Jack and Jill: The Poisoners of London' is the torrid tale of two high class serial killers romancing their way through the seedy underbelly of Victorian London. Nothing says ‘Love’ like a pile of dead bodies.
Lavish attire is greatly appreciated, but not mandatory. Creative costumes encouraged! Grifters, Madams, Assassins, Gentlemen of Fortune, Poets, Gamblers, Mad Scientists, Dandies, Dappers, Fashionistas, Neo-Victorians and Steampunkers are all very welcome! You can dress in costume or just in formal wear.
