dSLR Manual Camera Workshop: Port Melbourne

{Bookings taken at www.bethjenningsphoto.com only.}

Ever wondered why a beginner photographer would buy a digital SLR manual camera, become overwhelmed, switch to auto, then feel frustrated when their pictures aren't working? You wouldn't buy a manual car and then try to drive it in auto, so why do that with your manual dSLR camera?

on Manual in Melbourne is a techie, 2 hours, 8 people max, dSLR camera workshop. It’s designed to get you orientated with your camera, hands-on with a real live human that lives and breathes photography (that’s me…Beth Jennings. I've been running these for 3 years).

We cover the essentials - ISO, aperture, shutter speed, metering and monitoring for correct exposure using your histogram.

‘Great workshop! I got answers to all my questions. Thanks Beth for sharing your knowledge!’ Chirantha

{Bookings $59 taken at www.bethjenningsphoto.com only, do not RSVP here}.

I'm looking forward to helping you gain confidence with your manual dSLR shooting for good.

    Hi Beth
    I've never owned a DSLR only Manual SLR's and compact dig cams. I'm trying to work out the pros and cons of the various options on the market. Is there any chance of you doing an info session on this for others in my situation?

      Hi PP that's a can of worms! I would start asking some questions on places like The Photo Hive and other people in MWSG you have an invaluable resource sitting right in front of you! You are welcome to borrow a dSLR and do the workshop. Then you'll have a better idea of what to shop for. cheers, B

    sounds interesting Beth. I don't actually have a camera yet as I don't really know what to look for. I am hoping to investigate and find out more. Do you have any tips?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
