(Note: The address at first came up wrong in the maps even though I had the right address. Looks correct now when you hit the map location. From the website: The King Street Brewhouse is ideally located in the exciting entertainment precinct of King Street Wharf, overlooking Sydney's famous Darling Harbour.)
It's time for us to make an effort to get to know our cousins: the Sydney writers.
I often spend time in Sydney and would like to meet other writers in a social setting and share information about writing related events in Sydney and Melbourne, create accountability for our writing, celebrate writing successes such as hitting a word count or publishing, discuss writing challenges such as issues with plot, dialogue, or discipline and enjoy a tasty beverage!
And maybe you'll visit Melbourne one day and will want to meet us for one of our discussions, or author or publisher led talks, or writing games.
We also run a writers anthology. Which is a collection of short stories we publish online.
Even if it's just one of these things you wish to be involved in one day, it would be worthwhile coming along and having a chat.
Also, it would be great for any of our Melbourne writers to be able to link up to Sydney writers when visiting here or online.
Even if you can't attend the socials, there's plenty of great information on our Facebook page. Come and like us! https://www.facebook.com/MelbWriters
You can also follow us on Twitter to get the latest updates about group activities and events. https://twitter.com/MelbCityWriters

Check out my meetup profile (Mat Clarke) for a link to my Facebook page to stay in contact.
NOTE: If you've RSVP'd and won't be able to make the meetup, no worries, just update your status so we know not to look out for you.
