Introduction

I've always been interested in photography, but I've never really pursued it beyond my point-and-shoot digital camera. I recently picked up a Nikon D5000 and I'm excited about learning how to take great pictures.

What type of photography do you enjoy most?

I don't know yet. I'm interested in sunrise/sunset/landscape stuff, and I think I'd really enjoy candid photography.

What type (make and model) camera do you own?

Nikon D5000 Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5 - f/5.6 DX AF-S Nikon Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED AF-S DX VR Zoom Lens

What type of photography group event would you like?

I want to network, learn, and take lots of pictures.

I really enjoyed the function this evening at Emerge Memphis. That was a great place to meet, right on the trolly, downtown ...could not be beat! :)
Thanks for a great meeting. I was a small seedling amidst large pines, and liked it.
I look forward to learning more about PHP use in forums, etc..., mods, and other useful php programs that make a forum all the more interesting!\ Thanks again. I really enjoyed it :)

How about the public library on Poplar by East High School? They have parking and a room for a group of our nature is almost assured and is free. Jeremy or someone authorized to speak for the group must call in advance for the meeting room to be set aside for us.
