which route are you using from Atlantic Highlands to Highlands.
Are you going Scenic drive or are you going to go up valley drive past the stone church and up Navesink Ave to rt 36 into Sandy Hook?
I ask because I grew up in the Area. I know Scenic Drive is tough over 800 ft of climb to East Point. The Atlantic Highlands Hill topper was the bike Race in the 70's. Just wondering what the route was before committing. Then I know what bike to bring and how to gear the bike for the ride.

Was planning on taking Ocean Bld to Linden Ave to get to Highland then take Bay Ave intro Sandy Hook. But, I'm open to ideas!

How would you rate this ride and Mph. I need to ride distance but don't want to hold the group up of you ate faster riders.

It is a flat ride with hills midway into and coming out (out and back). Maybe a minimum of 12 avg Mph depending on riders.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
