This is a brave new group for people who are critical and somewhat fearful of organised religion (particularly the big three religions of the desert). If you are interested in people like; Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens and Pat Condell (please look him up on YouTube if you have a moment) then this group is for you.

The group will always be, of course, entirely non violent and peace loving. However, we will be militant (I hope) in the sense that we will be proactive in standing up for the voice of reason at every opportunity.

If you join this group then you will be invited to participate in debates, social meetups and other exciting events. I'm hoping that we can even hold special deconversion events. They will be kind of like the opposite of the Billy Graham gigs. So, bring your religious friends along and we'll play some music, have a few laughs and do our best to deconvert them for you.

If this group takes off then I'll be inviting religious leaders and special guests along to our events. I hope that we can respectfully take the debate to them.

Looking at the logic, it's probably only a matter of time before some religious nutcase gets hold of a nuke and bombs us all into the stone age. I for one happen to think that this is a rather serious matter. If you agree then I hope you will join this group.

It doesn't matter whether you are religious, atheist or on the fence. You're very welcome to come along.

Finally, if you are interested in public speaking then the group will be perfect for you. You'll be given an opportunity to refine your public speaking skills and develop your debating powers.
