tBunk Endurance Challenge

Hey Trail Runners! This sounds like a great event. It's the first annual tBunk Endurance Challenge, in honor of ultra runner Tom Bunk. It's run on the ski trails at the Nordic trail head (Home of the Ice Age 50). Plenty of distances to choose from: 200 miles, 150 miles, 100 miles, 50 miles, 50k, or shorter. It sounds like the atmosphere may be similar to that of the John Dick, which is pretty much amazing. Runners are welcome to do as many loops as they choose, from 9-200 miles! Plus, a portion of the entry fee will be donated to charity.

Great job to all. Can't wait to talk to the 50k people about how their races went.
Thanks Andrew for running those laps in the dark. Jen gave us each a six pack in thanks. I'll bring yours Sunday to Lapham.

just want to say congrats to everyone who completed their respective races. very impressed by the endurance shown this weekend (also somewhat disturbed by the mental instability clearly required for such feats). especially impressed by arun's 150 miler and jen's stunningly fast 100 miler.

Hi everyone, The tBunk is almost here! For those of us running the 50K on Saturday, lets talk about carpooling. It begins at 9:00am, so we could meet at 7:30 at the State Fair Park and Ride. Please comment here indicating if you will be meeting us to carpool. I can drive.
Also, if you think a different meeting time/place would work better, just let us know! :)

Former MRG member Jennifer Rolfing is running the 100 mile. She lives in LaCrosse now and could use some night running pacers on Sat. evening and/or Sunday AM. Anyone interested in running for free?

I think that she'd be happy to have you there. You could also help as a crew person to get drinks, or gels or whatever she needs. Could you be there in the evening Saturday from 6 to midnight, until I can get there?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
