The Misanthropic Gamer

This meetup exists to facilitate tabletop board and role-playing games in the East Bay. We meet semi-regularly in the El Sobrante area (near Pinole and San Pablo), in the back of the El Sobrante public library (atop the site of an old Huichin village and burial ground). We are generally not hardcore gamers and hope to share a large spectrum of game play. We have played such games as Arkham Horror, Descent, Munchkin, Resistance, and Monopoly. Currently we are meeting semi-regularly (c.f. El Sobrante fortnight) to enjoy a game of Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu role-playing game. Experience is by no means necessary, but a quirky sense of humor helps.
