Table top rpg gamer of 25+. Happy to connect with others - and to run some games. Focusing specifically on 1930's Call of Cthulhu
Appreciate your joining us.
As you likely saw, we are getting together tonight, if you've a mind to stop by. CoC and Talisman are on tap for this evening.
Despite having 42 members in the "group" on Meetup, we typically have around 6-8 getting together in the flesh form- very cozy and comfortable.
We would be most pleased should you choose to grace us with yourself, anytime.
Warm regards and wishes,
Although we do have a workshop on Saturdays, I will be starting a workshop beginning tomorrow, Sunday July 10, at 'A Cuppa Tea (College Avenue, a couple blocks up from Claremont) from 1:30-3:30. I would love to have you be a member of Sunday's group, if that suits you.
Let me know [masked]; if you can come, remember to bring a printed copy of 3-5 pages of what you are working on!
Really looking forward to meeting you, Janyce (hoping you'll come today, Sat, tho!)
I am very much hoping you will make it to Saturday's workshop, so you can get a feeling for the caliber of writing and the kind of environment we work in, although I will probably be starting a new one on Sundays, beginning next week (not this one), depending on how much overflow we get. I think you'll really enjoy it, and I can tell from your sample that you'll be a refreshing addition.
Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday!
Janyce! Loved your sample -- please do come to our workshop on Saturday (1:30-3:30 @ World Ground on MacArthur Blvd off 35th Street) to see how it all works, and please bring a printed copy of 5 pages of your work so I can take that home & edit it later. Will be starting a new group on Sundays, but want new people to see the class in action first. Please call me to discuss fees [masked] (& pls lv your number!). I love your eclecticism, and am already hooked on this story!
I can give you a ride if you wanted.
BART might be the easiest option, though the closest that gets to Vallejo or Benicia is North Concord station.
You would definitely need a ride from there, though... You might be able to hook up with some of our Concord/Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area gamers and see if you could carpool.
Janyce, it's good to have you amongst us. We have several players that I think would add to your gaming pleasure, and both myself and Myca GM Cthulhu as well... Personally I'd love to play in a CoC game again. I hope to see you at some of the upcoming events. Welcome!
Welcome Janyce!! A number of us are quite the fans of Call of Cthulhu around here.
We're having an open Meetup in Vallejo on the evening of 5/21, if you'd like to attend!
Welcome to Thrills&Chills! I hope you'll join us soon for some of our events :)
