Let's venture out to the Skyline Forest area above the city of Monterey for an evening hike adorned with gorgeous views of the Monterey Bay and Pacific Ocean.

Since there will be only minimal elevation gain on this trek we will try to maintain a 3.0 mph average pace. Everyone is encouraged to maintain their own individual paces within his/her comfort limits. Since this is a group hike, we will pause at major street and/or trail junctions to wait for everyone to regroup.

IMPORTANT!!! Walk will commence promptly at 10 minutes past the posted start time. Sunset will occur at 7:28 p.m. with civil twilight expiring at 7:55 p.m. Please bring headlamps and/or flashlights as it will be getting dark towards the end of the hike.

This means being prepared with adequate hiking gear and making sure the difficulty level of the event IS NOT beyond the limits of your health & conditioning.
