Announcing a new Meetup for The Monterey Bay Area Hiking Group!

What: Power Walk Thursday: Monterey Bay Coastal Trail (~6 Miles, <200 Feet)

When: Thursday, October 21,[masked]:00 PM

Price: $1.00 per person

Where: Edgewater Shopping Center
915 Playa Avenue (Outside Papa Chanos)
Seaside, CA 93955

Since Maria and I will be out of the country on our Himalayan trekking expedition, Rosio has graciously volunteered to lead this after-work, power walk from Seaside to Monterey encompassing about 6 miles with just under 200 feet of elevation gain.

Starting at the Edgewater Shopping Center near the Papa Chano's Mexican eatery where you'll find plenty of free parking, we'll head out on the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail for 3 miles until reaching our turnaround point at El Estero Lake. Upon arrival back to our starting point we'll have achieved 6 miles with just under 200 feet of elevation gain.
