A strong Pacific storm system that is currently located in the Gulf of Alaska is expected to be sending large, long period waves to west and northwest facing beaches starting tomorrow (Tuesday, November 2nd) at 11 a.m. PT. Waves will be breaking within the surf zone ranging from 15 to 20 feet (possibly up to 25 feet in preferred locations). Let's take our Tuesday evening hike out to the Coastal Rec Trail for a look at the waves and enjoy some beneficial exercise along the way.
