A evening hike option for those unable to attend today's earlier hike at Toro Park. This evening, let's venture out to Country Club Gate area in Pacific Grove for an exhilarating 5-mile hike through Pebble Beach and Asilomar.

Trail Route for Country Club Gate

Country Club Gate Shopping Center

Let's meet outside the McDonald's restaurant. Ample parking available in the surface lot for the shopping center.

Since there will be only minimal elevation gain on this trek we will try to maintain a 3.0 mph average pace. Everyone is encouraged to maintain their own individual paces within his/her comfort limits. Since this is a group hike, we will pause at major street and/or trail junctions to wait for everyone to regroup.

NOTE: Please bring headlamps or flashlights so that you may safely illuminate the foot path ahead of you as we hike. Walk will commence promptly at 10 minutes past the posted start time.

Please be aware that we expect you to take responsibility for your safety while we are out on the trails. This means being prepared with adequate hiking gear and making sure the difficulty level of the event IS NOT beyond the limits of your health & conditioning. We understand that your "Yes" RSVP to this event means you accept this. For more information regarding safety, please refer to the Monterey Bay Area Hiking Group "About" section for more details.
