The National Building Museum provides an excellent opportunity for architectural photography. The exterior of the brick building is adorned with a frieze depicting various scenes of civil war soldiers. Inside you will find 75 foot tall Corinthian columns, the largest interior columns in the world. Large windows allow for natural light to flood the Great Hall. Photography is permitted in the Great Hall only. No photographs may be taken in any exhibitions. Tripods are allowed.
Admission to the museum is free. A donation of $5 per person is suggested.
We will meet outside the F Street entrance, directly accross the street from the Judiciary Square Metro Station.
