Street Photography: Adams Morgan

“I learned, I laughed, I shot strangers. And nobody shot back! Thanks Vickie!”

Special class. Limited to 5 people.

How do you take pictures of people--strangers--in the street? What do you say? How do you approach them?

“Without a doubt this was one of the most beneficial and fun meetups that I have ever participated in. Vickie's passion and commitment to photography was so compelling that every one of us walked away with a new level of self confidence and commitment to the craft. She is a great mentor and I look forward to participating in many more meetups with her.” --Truman Clemons

“There's a lot to say when you attend a workshop led by an experienced professional... Thanks Vickie for an amazing day lessons learned were invaluable and conversations in the coffee shop were priceless. You're a superstar!” --Alvin M.

A lot of people feel terror at the thought of taking pictures of a stranger in the street. Yes, it can be intimidating. And, it can be lots and lots of fun!

For the last 30 years, I've been a photographer shooting for newspapers and magazines. Walking up to complete strangers, taking their picture and getting their contact information is a way of life for me.

Come and join me for one-on-one experience of how to talk to people in the street, take their pictures. No pressure! Just fun!

You'll watch me talk to people, interact and if you like, try it yourself.

Because of the nature of the walk, it's limited to just four people.

We will meet in Eastern Market, talk a little bit and then go out and take photos. If the groups wants, we'll stop for a drink after to share pictures and ideas.

Excellent tutorial, with good hands on instructions, plenty of opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback. Well worth the investment in time and money. I would recommend it!
