Announcing a new Meetup for The Mountain View Mozilla Meetup Group!
What: Firefox.next Feature Exploration!
When: Wednesday, March 24,[masked]:30 PM
650 Castro Street, Suite 300
Mountain View, CA 94041
Time for another great meetup - this time we invite you to be on the cutting edge of Firefox development as you join us for an in depth discussion of the features that will be part of the next Firefox release. Learn about how Mozilla plans to implement Out of Process Plugins as well as a number of other features which can be found here:https://wiki.mozilla.org/QA/Firefox_3.next/Test_Plan#Feature_Test_Plans_and_Status
If you have ever been interested in learning more about Firefox and how it develops and tests its features, this would be a great meetup to attend. We are also seeking community members that are interested in helping us own the various features - from test plan to test cases that will need to be created.
If you want to take a sneak peek at the latest alpha before the meetup, please visit Mozilla Developer Preview
- there is a link to the Preview builds at the bottom of that page as well as an explanation of what is contained in the alpha build.
We will start with pizza and mingling at 6:30 PM and then start the talk promptly at 7 PM. Please note that this event will be held on the 2nd Floor of the 650 Castro Street building, not the usual place on the third floor. The doors to 650 Castro lock at 7 PM so please call[masked] x5200 if you cannot access the building. We have wifi access so feel free to bring your laptops.
Also, since we are ordering food I ask that a "Yes" RSVP indicates that you will attend. Please adjust your RSVP to "No" if you will be unable to attend the event. Thanks for your cooperation.
