Hello everybody,

It's time for our second iOS meetup! Let us know in the comment section if you would like to present an app that you developed or any other interesting topic that you would like to share.

Ideas are also welcome for a location. Could be in a bar again (maybe one that is not so loud) or any other location. Beer in mandatory :)

Hope that you can make it.

Regards,

José

Meetup was very interesting for me, but may be we need some kind of agenda for the next time.

My 'random check' at the dentist turn out bad today. Sorry- but I'll be dead home for the next days

We don't really have an agenda for tomorrow, please let me know if anybody wants to present something. The meetup will still be interesting though, to get to know other iOS developers and to ask whatever questions you might have. I am available on my cell if anything: [masked]

Hey guys! Unfortunately I won't be able to make it today as I am attending the DLD event in the evening. But I hope I will see you all next time! Have fun!

Unfortunately I won't be able to come tonight (at least not on time). I got an appointment for viewing an apartment on very short notice and my need for a new home is rather urgent.

How long will the meetup go? I might be able to come there later.
If you know anybody who has an apartment for rent or is looking for a new flat mate, I would be very thankful if you could share this link with them: http://wohnungssuche.timbodeit.de (website is german only)

    ok, here is my cell:[masked]
if you come from Frauenhofer Strasse underground, walk on the right side, pass the baadercafe opposite roadworks, next comes an antique furniture shop, right after the shop is a driveway, walk through into the backyard, there is a white door.
    beer is in the fridge.

Hey Daniel. Super nice that your share your office. I'm new in the group, maybe you share the name of your company (to find the location better) or add you cell #, just in case ... ? CHEERS, Martin

I can Offer my Office for a meet up in Baaderstrasse ( behind baadercafe). there is a projector as well for presentation. the restriction is, the group should not be bigger than 10 people.

Hi Daniel, great! Thank you very much for hosting. Is there any shop nearby? We could together buy some kisten Beer depending on how many we are.

don´t worry, I will organize 2 kisten of beer, in case its not enough, there is a over night kiosk on the isar, where we could get more supplies.

I'm a bit fresh to iOS but I'm logging a lot of time on my own app right now. I have a few questions/topics that might be worth discussing (besides demoing my app in progress)?..
    1) iOS to Android to Intel SDK??? code once, deploy multiple etc.
    2) Best plugins and tools (eg, Core Data or animation wrappers, overlay and custom menus?)
    3) Project setups and workflows inc. code patterns 'sharedManagers' or singletons and class setup

Those 3+ topics could be quite big and have probably come up before but perhaps there are others interested in these? In any case, I'd also like to present my app (v0.5a) for feedback if that's ok... or wait till it's a v1.0b depending on other presenters and their apps.

Hi Dan, check out the discussion forum, theres a post with a list of useful tools and libraries there: http://www.meetup.com...

Regarding hybrid solutions or easy porting, there arent any worth using to be honest.

The best thing available is coding in C# for MonoTouch, but I think most people are better off just learning each platform independently.
