Gosh, back in the '50s, Dad showed me how to do the manual settings on an old camera he gave to me. My brother made a darkroom in the fruit cellar too, but it wasn't until the digitals came out that I developed my own passion for photography.

I like to learn most anything, but have no interest in starting a business. Shooting nature, and city skylines seem to dominate vacation shots. I seldom focus on people unless it's family, guess I don't want to bother others with my hobby.
I want to learn to use the manual settings on my new camera. Because I write light verse for children, the pix of my children and grandchildren support the manuscripts. I use PhotoShop for the restoration of old family pix too.
Kudos to Kathy, Siomara, and Blue for stepping up in Jerry 's absence. We enjoyed an active, comfortable critque of our images. The group chose one photo from each person's set to submit to Jerry upon his return. The agenda seemed to be well-received; maybe we should repeat this type of exchange periodically.
