I decided to start this group for those who strive to understand the underlying mechanics when they listen to, perform, and write music. For those who do not obtusely serve the engine to which the label "unseen forces" is applied, but throw themselves into the moving gears to understand how it works. Our purpose is to cultivate a deeper understanding of music and musicianship, gaining perspective on our own knowledge, sharing compositions and performances to gain feedback, analysis, and insight, promote musicianship by applying theoretical concepts to rehearsal. If you've always wondered why you get so emotional at that one spot in your favorite song, if you're a classical music fan but never quite understood the meaning behind the beauty, if you've ever wondered why so many electrical appliances vibrate near b-flat, if you're a dedicated musician and want a place to share ideas, then this group is for you.
