Hi Andrew, thanks for joining and posting this. However, I think you may be our only member in the Norfolk area. I bet if you ran a search based on the Norfolk area code you could find a closer gaming meetup. Good luck.

There are a few other ways such as yahoo groups where you would be in a special interest group and then you would have to put up a post to see if there is anyone in your area. But Meetup is by far the best that I know of. I would suggest you search within Meetup by a less specific criterion, for example, search for games, or wargames, or miniatures games, rather than for specifically Mechwarrior.

Also you may want to search for Classic Battletech games/gamers. I used to play Mechwarrior but once I played CBT I found I enjoyed that a lot more.

I have a lot of miniatures left over from my time playing during Dark Age and have aquired a few pieces from Age of Destruction that other people can use to build armies if they are short on pieces.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
