I'm starting a local RPG group focused on MouseGuard and Torchbearer; still occasionally playing tabletop mini games.
Weekends work for me and some weeknights if I don't need to drive too far.
I love roleplaying, even with my miniature armies, making tactical decisions based on the limited intelligence of commanders on the table. I'm more interested in playing than winning. I'm an old AD&D player more into storygames now. And since my first experience at Historicon in Fredericksburg, 2012 I'm enthusiastic about playing more historical tabletop miniature games. My new favorite RPGs are MouseGuard and Trail of Cthulhu.

This particular Meetup is certainly great at getting gamers together. I met a couple of great guys tonight for the first time and enjoyed a fun first session of a new dungeon crawl RPG.
It was fun. Unfortunately I am back at work next week. I do have Friday off if you are available. Let me know.
Great playing wit you, hope to do it again soon!
I LOVE Cthulu.....If you decide to get a game going I know at least a couple of people that will play.
Whereabouts in Manassas? I live in Stephens City, which I guess is about an hour away from Culpepper? There's a Meetup group in Front Royal that is starting up, which is closer for you. I know some guys in the Stephens City/Winchester area who are into playing Euros, and I have a friend in Martinsburg who likes wargames. We've been playing Twilight Struggle, Hammer of the Scots, Agricola, Shadows Over Camelot, Hannibal, Paths of Glory (sorta), and some other Euros.
Well met to the east coast, Aaron. If you have any specific questions or comments, email me directly. jwilliamgershon.com
