5PM Mass, 6PM Lenten Evening Prayer with Guest Speaker & Soup Supper

The Catholic Fellowship of Connecticut, our affiliate group, invites all Catholics/Christians in their 20s, 30s and 40s, both single and married, to the 5PM Mass on Sunday March 3rd at The Church of the Assumption in Westport.

Following the Mass, we will resume in the Church starting at 6PM with Lenten Evening Prayer Service. Evening Prayer is an occasion to give thanks for the blessing of the day, and for redemption in Christ.

The Lenten Evening Prayer Service consists of 3 parts: Prayer, Adoration, and a Talk by a Guest Speaker to help us grow in our faith.

Our guest speaker is Dr. Joan Kelly, Faculty of Sacred Heart University and Director of Evangelization studies program in Danbury, CT. Dr. Joan Kelly is an excellent speaker on the topic of evangelization, and has spoken at many parishes in the Diocese of Bridgeport.

Following the Evening Prayer service in the Church, we invite everyone for a simple Soup Supper in the Fr. McGrath Hall (beneath the Church).
