Exactly as the previous emailer pointed out: A teacher should not use meetup.com for driving her business up. She should use different means (paid advertising, flyers, etc..) not an organization, which gets ppl together based on their common interests.
And wanting to pay a lofty $50/hr for her driving to our meetup??? Give me a brake!
NO BIZ NO BIZ No Biz throug MEETUP.COM
Just friends and kind people who want to share what they have learned or they like to do, that's all.

I am removing myself from the group. I believe a teacher should charge a fee however I do not think they should use meetup.com as a business arrangement. I have been in groups where people are always trying to sell their products. It gets annoying to everyone. I do not support for profit meetups and I do not believe that is the purpose of meetup.com
