The WorkShop Theater is a place where playwrights develop their work interactively. According to their website, "you're not just an audience member at the WorkShop; you're a part of the development process. Audiences join our process by sharing their observations and opinions with the playwright in a moderated talk-back following a free reading of a new or revisited play." So if you're looking for something very structured and ordinary, this may not be for you.
During this series, The WorkShop presents sit-down readings of new and revisited scripts, generally followed by a moderated dramaturgical discussion. Unless otherwise noted on the Schedule, Sunday readings begin at 6pm in the Jewel Box. They are open to the public and admission is free.
