Visit Brooklyn Botanic Garden

This is a FREE event!!!

Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a 52-acre living museum where beauty, romance, and fun blossom among world-class plant collections and specialty gardens. Admired as an urban horticultural and botanical resource, BBG inspires visitors to discover that plants are essential to life. We'll stroll around the gardens and take a break at the Terrace cafe.

The Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden is one of the oldest and most visited Japanese-inspired gardens outside Japan. It presents a condensed idealization of nature: trees and shrubs, carefully dwarfed and shaped by cloud-pruning, are surrounded by hills, a pond, and forest-sized trees.

Admission to the BBG is free on Saturdays until noon. If rain is expected, we won't go, and I'll reschedule for another day.

Family matter at 10:30 a.m. Sat. and most of the rest of the day prevented me from attending. Must have a great day to have been there.

I'll be at Coffee Bark too and replied No to allow people waiting to join. Can you post the meeting place as well? I'd like to meet up with the group. Thanks!

I may be in lower Manhattan early on Sat. Morning. So I would prefer meeting the group at the Park. Where will the group be entering the Park? I haven't been there in a long time.

Hi I live by the park. I'd still like to meet everyone, but I noticed people on a wait list and don't plan to travel to Manhattan to come back to Bk, so I rsvp'd no to allow space for them. May I still meet up with the group somewhere?
