We are a fun and friendly meetup group for all of NYC's small dogs! Proud parents of small dogs from Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens, Staten Island or Jersey are all welcome to join! Our meetups will primarily be in Manhattan, but we will certainly take trips to the outer boroughs for a day of adventure from time to time!

Our mission is to socialize our small dogs regularly and make new friends in the process! We socialize at various dog runs, indoor playgrounds, dog-friendly restaurants, venues and parks in Manhattan AND the surrounding boroughs. We exchange information about the best foods, groomers, suppliers and vets. We will grow our network and develop into a purposeful resource for all small dog owners throughout NYC. Our meetups are ever-changing and evolving based on the ideas and suggestions contributed by its members. The frequency of meetings, the itinerary, the course of our group... is in our hands.
This group is limited to dogs of twelve pounds or under at their full-grown adult weight.

If you're ready to be a part of a new social circle that is highly active and all about enriching the lives of small dogs and their parents, this is the group for you.

The main requirement is that you are a responsible parent and for every meetup, your dog is healthy, non-aggressive, infection free, up-to-date on shots, neutered or spayed and seeking a good time!

To be a member of the NYCSDP, there is membership fee of $5.00 per month. Your dues will help cover the cost of the monthly social events. Sharing the cost drives home the message that the group belongs to all of us! Any excess funds, will go to "the pot" for miscellaneous costs to facilitate our meetups, ie, treats, toys or facility fees.
