After 3 years of this being an informal gathering of skeptics, we will now become an official part of NYC Skeptics, the major skeptic organization in the New York City area. With this will also come changes in format, schedule, and venue.

Most importantly, the format. The meetup will now be a formal discussion group, with a different topic every month. These discussions will be initially lead by our distinguished member, Prof. Massimo Pigliucci.

As far as a new venue and time, we would like to hear from you. We do want to hold the meetup on a Tuesday night at 7PM instead of on Saturdays. Also, as nice as the Malibu diner is for an informal gatherings, it is not the best place for a discussion group .

Not everything will change though, we will still (at least try to) stay away from discussing our forbidden topics: religion, politics, and global warming.

So, please let us know what you think, we'll be waiting for your feedback and looking forward to a long relationship.
