I will soon be spending a significant amount of my time in the Nashville area for work, and since I had a great deal of success with the Meetup I organized in the Washington, DC area, I am hopeful that I can begin making some connections and lasting friendships in Nashville!

I'm sure there are others like me out there.  We're new to the area or maybe our friends have married or simply moved on to other things.  Some of us are divorced or just enjoying single life, but don’t have that same circle of friends that we used to count on for company on a Friday night.  If that is you, then this new Meetup may be just the right fit!

The framework for this Meetup is single men and women looking for social relationships with other like minded single adults to share ideas, activities and make friends.  Anyone who decides to join in wants to take a chance by getting out there to see what the Nashville area has to offer.  This social network of professional single men and women ages 40 and up will allow you to have just that!  And as a newbie to the area, I'm ready to take on Nashville with zeal!  So let's enjoy dinners, wine tastings, and other fun events around town.  It could be something as simple as a movie night or as extravagant as a vacation to the Carribbean!

If you’re like me, you want to be connected with a Meetup group that will encourage contact amongst its membership while at the same time offering diverse outings and events.  As new members join, your only tasks will be to be motivated to participate in upcoming Meetups and correspond at least once a month with some of your fellow Meetup group members including me!  If you truly want to establish relationships with other singles who are in search of the same things you are, then this is the group for you!  When things get underway, Meetups will generally be scheduled twice a month and ideas for potential Meetups from our membership are welcomed.  Our outings will take place all over the area and will include museums, wine festivals and festivities around the holidays.  We definitely would like you to join if you feel that this group meets your needs!  Looking forward to meeting you all!
